Mentor Program

We believe that pairing athletics and mentoring engages and helps prepare children during their most formative years.

Our student athletes are partnered with mentors through local universities, including Drexel and the University of Pennsylvania, allowing them to be connected with “near peer” positive role models on a consistent basis. The program includes academic tutoring, preparation for a variety of standardized tests, career and educational guidance, in addition to focusing on the development of standard “life” skills.

Of the 441 participants in our middle school and high school programs, over 94% advanced in grade level and/or graduated, far surpassing Philadelphia’s average 65% graduation rate.  Check out some of our Success Stories!
